Engine Sales Parts & Accessories at 4375 West Reno Ave Unit 1, On Feb 12 th I gave this company a deposit in cash of $1,400 for the parts to repair my 1983 El Camino.  The deal was to have the engine and transmission rebuilt for a total of $1,885.   Now the engine has a knock in it.

When I called Dale the office manager his said our guarantee was for parts only and basically wanted more money to fix his bad repair work.  I am 70 years old and love that car.

I found the shop in the Yellow Pages and yes I know I should have check with the Better Business Bureau who by the way said have many complaints against the company I didn’t check thinking they must be okay if their in the phone book.

Dale the office manager was nasty and outright rude and refused to give me the owners name as well.  I think he figures he can bully me because of my age.   My biggest problem is I can’t find my receipt or guarantee because I moved in May.  Even without they should have a record of it.

Contact 13 called him and he tried to say our guarantee was for 90 days not one year like I am sure he told me.
He also said he couldn’t find my paperwork which makes me think because I paid him cash he might of done the work under the table.  Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
