Computer Giant Refuses to honor Warranty (Dan Bulnes Exec Hewlit Packard)

Computer giant refuses to honor warranty==consuer Uncle Tim says “don’t do business with these guys!” Daniel Bulnes executive with Hewlit Packard customer services refuses to repair laptop sent in by a consumer who calls himself “Uncle Tim” for repairs. The laptop burned Tim’s leg when it overheated. Then the notebook fell apart. “I couldn’t believe the Hewlit Packard response to my problem!”

They would not even let me send the computer in until I talked to their loss prevention team. All he wanted to do was advise me laptops were not supposed to be put into your lap!

I send the machine in and when it did not come back I called. “Computer on the way, no charge!”

When the computer did not come back I called again…in fact I called again…in fact I called again…hours on the phone with these guys, computer chat, emails telling me they had tried to call me but no number on my caller ID.

Finally the executive in charge of customer relations calls, the laptop was dropped. He was pretty happy to tell me that, he saved HP $360 in repair bills!

When I told Daniel if he sent my computer back unfixed I was going to send it to a PI attorney Daniel said

“You have a good day” and hung up! You can’t call him back because the number from caller .i.d-says it is diconnected. Does anyone have any idea? If you do, will you email Mr. Bulnes and ask him to treat me right?

Thanks, Uncle Tim daniel.bulnes@hp.com
