Scam is “Cash Point Claymont Delaware, and Norton’s Towing Squad”
I am basically putting “Cash Point” and “Norton’s towing squad” on notice to the public for their illegal partnership in stealing, selling, and robbing people of not only their personal vehicles, and their belongings as well.
First of all “Cash Point” does the initial fraudulent stealing. they offer you a small loan, give you the option of paying it back in your own time, they tell you they will work with you, if you are having trouble paying (which is a lie), then they take your vehicle without you knowing it. At the time of the initial application process, they look at your vehicle, research it, take your title, (not a copy), but the original, have you sign it over to them while they place a lien on it and they claim immediate ownership. Not allowing, trusting, or considering the consumer from the beginning. Eugene, is one of the loan officers who takes your information, and acts like he is trying to help you, when he really isn’t.
Eugene basically preys on women, single women to be exact, who are w/o a man, desperate, and will do anything, but sell their soul to the devil to get their hard earned vehicles back.
He likes to set up weekend visits with women, meet with them, take their money, and steal their souls. he acts like he is helping, when all he is doing is setting them up for the next phase of the game; contacting his partner in crime, Dave Norton, who actually steals your vehicle while your not looking, takes it to an undisclosed location to sell it, charge you a fee of fifty dollars to get your personal belongings ( those he doesn’t want for himself that is) and sends one of his harlots or flunkies to bring you what he wants you to have back.
Before you can request your belongings, he has to think of a strategy to use. He then tells you he needs to make an appointment with you. You make the appointment, and he doesn’t remember making the appointment, so he cancels, and reschedules when he’s ready. Personally, I know he’s doing drugs. He’s an idiot. You will never meet Dave, because he isn’t man enough to face his victims, because of fear of someone harming him. So he hides behind his name.
When you do meet to get your personal belongings, always have someone with you. he lies about his location by giving you an address: 5900 Germantown avenue, anybody that knows Germantown avenue, knows that address doesn’t exist.
Look out for these vampires, they will rob and steal from you in a second.
Everyone: beware of ‘Cash Point”, located in Claymont Delaware; and Norton’s towing squad”, located in Germantown, on a small street called ‘Cosgrove’ street. I’ll give it to Dave Norton though; he’s a criminal hiding in an area where there is a police station adjacent to where he is located. Isn’t that something illegal protecting illegal?

The contact information is as follows:
“CashPoint” aka “Dominion Management of Delaware”, 3503 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703, 302-793-9674 or toll free 1888-309-3982; Eugene is the contact person at Cashpoint working closely with Dave at the towing place.
Norton’s Towing Squad, 51 E. Cosgrove Street, Philadelphia, Pa, 19144, 215-842-3233; Dave Norton is the lead person at this organization, you will never see him. There is another name that he may dwell under: “Gotcha Auto Recovery”.
I hope someone can help me in some way.
Thanking you in advance,
Everything you requested of me, is included in the updates.
Thanks again,
Liza
Hi Liza,
I happen to disagree with what your saying and I truely think you need to get your facts straight. The bottom line is this if people would pays their bills they would not have to work about their vehicles being taken. Now there are other financial institutions out there people can use other than Cash Point. But it seems it was your choice to use Cash Point so there is no need to be bitter because you failed to pay your bills on time. Now I’m sure you would not be complaining if you missed your mortgage payment and your mortgage company foreclosed on your house. Everybody in this economy is trying to make just like Eugene and Dave Norton. I am sure they have families to support just as you do. So I say to all the people reading your blog pay your bills on time.
I am responding to the posting about cashpoint/norton’s towing. I have used Cashpoint in the past and had no problems. It states in the contract that you sign and is clear on their website that your car will be reposessed if you are seriously delinquit or faulty on your loan payment. I payed my payment on time and had no issues in receiving my title back. If a company gives you a loan with your car as collateral they will definitely take the title until you are paid in full just like the finance company does when you purchase a car brand new off the lot. The title does not go to you until the loan is payed off, the title is proof of ownership, which you do not “own” until all monies in the agreement is paid in full.
As for the reposession end of it, it is obvious that a reposessor is not going to greet you before they take your vehicle, they work at night to avoid violent confrontations from irrate customers. They receive an order from the company to reposess and they do their job, which is all business not personal. It is not a fun job but somebody has to do it or everybody would default on car and title loans and all banks and businesses will be bankrupt. I understand your frustration and realize it must create a real hardship but to call somebody a drug addict or a flunkie is not very nice. You contradict yourself by saying that you know this personally but yet “you will never see him.” Unless he is an acquatence of yours or you have some proof of this then it could be considered slander and be trouble legally. I do understand the economy is horrible and money is tight for everybody because I am experiencing troubles myself but my advice to you would be to make sure you read the documents you sign and have knowledge of the reprocussions. In the long run it will save you aggravation and humility. I wish you luck in your endevors and think you should pray on this situation because it has hurt you so much. Good Luck
i dont believe what i’m hearing because norton’s tow sqaud is one of the legit tow companies in philly. they dont wreckchase or still cars off streets and they have beautiful trucks and they are the exclusive contractors for the city of phila street dept they help relocate (not impound) peoples cars for paving because people are too stupid to see the signs posted that say don’t park there. from what i see to they tow for temple police and they donate to many charietys and hold an event for kids each year. i wasn’t even aware they do repossessions i know all there employees work for another company that does repo’s and i also know norton’s transports for this company but i dont think they do the actual repo. i very shocked that you would blast norton’s tow sqaud name like that because your broke and got your car repoed and i wasnt nortons that repoed it. and btw i know dave he’s not on drugs so thats slander sweetie if nortons and dave wanted to they can sue you for slander.. sooi suggest you watch what you say.
They may be helping folks out,but charging $20.00 interest per day is a bit excessive. You better have a good paying job to be able to pay off your loan.
i can tell you that they are the biggest cons out there and work together to scam you out of money.eugene and dave are liars, thiefs, & are just in it for the money.
I cant speak on Cashpoint but Norton towing is one of the most reputable towing companies in Philly. They aren’t the scam artist that you are making them out to be. They just did a Towing for Toys run over the weekend that collected thousands of toys for children who’s families couldn’t afford to give their kid’s presents for Christmas and I can tell you Dave is not on drugs. Like the earlier post said you could be sued for slander for writing something like that. I can understand that you are upset because you feel they did you wrong but you don’t need to add to your troubles by being sued.
Liza:
You’re one of thousands of victims of auto title lender loan sharks. My impression is that you live in Pennsylvania in the Philadelphia area, so what you should know is that Cashpoint’s auto title loans are actually illegal here in Pennsylvania. I am an attorney, and I have successfully litigated against several auto title lenders in Delaware on behalf of Pennsylvania borrowers, and I might be able to help you obtain satisfaction against Cashpoint. I have gotten my clients refunds of usurious interest paid to Delaware auto title lenders, loan balances wiped out and clear title restored to their cars. In your case, since your car was repossessed, you would be entitled to compensation for the value of your car, which is something I could help you achieve. The Pennsylvania consumer protection statutes these companies violate make them liable to pay your attorney’s fees, so I am able to take on cases such as this without any out of pocket expenditures from client. I can be reached at 215-300-2388. Philadelphia Debt Clinic–rfsalvin@philadelphiadebtclinic.net
Thanks for writing back Mr. Salvin….at least you are offering her help. I may be contacting you myself soon.
I don’t understand why these brainwashed folks here are actually worried more about “slander”….than criticizing CashPoint and their Repo methods. Case in point? D.C. attorney general sues CashPoint

…and to philapdbadge35206, my fellow 369′er…you should know better…..er….a little “note” from the tow guy on the site fella? People can say anything they want….this isn’t a news story…it is a consumer conversation…officer. Since you are obviously sleeping with the enemy…oww….did I just “slander” you???….Why don’t you walk across the street and get his butt to a PC so he can answer for himself here, fella.
…Man…this society is so “brain-trained” that we actually go after the people who help….what a joke.
*p.s….when you go to CashPoint…watch them work the magic with the spreadsheet….err….300, no…350….no….360 percent!!! Call on the phone????…nine times out of ten…they will tell you 30 percent. They don’t even ask what state you are from. Wow…look at their annual sales:

*p.s.s…Mr. Salvin…If you were able to help Liza…please post here and let me know…or leave a post stating when to contact you.
Thanks,
Rick
I worked for this company and see both sides. However, I will state that if you don’t agree with the interest rate then you should have never taken out a title loan to begin with. The reason the Interest is so high is because they offer a loan without a credit check. And only title loans offer that. If you buy a car from a “buy here pay here” without a credit check, they will kill you on interest as well. The bottom line is…it’s a choice to borrow money. And cashpoint clearly explains the terms to you and makes sure that you understand before processing a loan. Additionally, the repo companies that are used have to be state licensed with atleast a $1million insurance policy. And by law all cars are sold at auction. And cashpoint RARELY makes what is owed on an acct from the auction amount. And if they get more than was owed, it is ALWAYS refunded to the customer. Everyone who gets their car repoed ultimately did not pay and avoided the collection calls. Because they give so much time by law before they even issue a repo order. Custers dodge the collection calls but then call in and complain the moment the vehicle is picked up. Just pay your bills and there won’t be an issue!
I think they are the biggest ripoff ever. There is now reason for them to charge such exhorbitant fees. A one thousand dollar loan will cost you over four hundred a month. I cant believe that anyone would defend this company. Greed at least take int consideration what the customer has paid so far and prorate it. They are ban in some states all for a good reason. Their day will come its only a matter of time.
It seems like the only people who post complaints about title loan companies are THOSE WHO DON’T PAY THEIR BILLS. Of course your car is going to be repossessed if you don’t pay, this is a COLLATERAL BASED LOAN! They don’t do credit checks, which is the trade-off for the high interest rate. If you don’t want to pay high interest, go to a bank or credit union for your loan. People need to take responsibility for their own actions! No one forced you to go to Cash Point!
Isn’t funny, people like Mary above want to scold adults?!
Predatory lending is predatory lending, period.
AND!!!!,…if the fancy commercials said they charged 300-350 and more percent interest….no one would go there. Most people are victims of the racist, elitist, and greed filled credit reporting agencies who don’t give a f*** about accurate reporting, and fee-filled banks & finance agencies. AND YOU KNOW IT!!!
Don’t believe me?…err…ah…MORTGAGE CRISIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
American greed is rampant. We don’t need school teachers on here with rulers in hand saying bad girl to her. She has every right to complain. By the way…MARY, “Other”, and Angel…did you folks ACTUALLY READ THE CASHPOINT PAPERS!!!…they are numerous, VERY micro-small in print…and would take even a quick reader, over two hours to go through. (with a magnifying glass to read the details).
What do you think the average desperate person is going to do? Sign the damn things, get the check, and get out…and MAYBE read them later…but usually don’t. By the way, if any of you “judges” ever bought a NEW CAR…how many of you actually went home and read your paperwork!!!???….Betcha went to the carwash first, with your sales tag on the side, proud as a judging ass peacock!!!
They know what they are doing, just like the predatory mortgage lenders. Stop sleeping in bed with these people and kissing their asses. Frankly, anyone who defends these sharks eat with them anyway…or…are dependent on them for one reason or another.
If you can’t help here….get lost. Help the woman….it’s obvious this dude at C/P is taking advantage, just doing it without the “used car” lot behind him. In addition, repo men are (mostly)ex cons are folks who f***d up in life and now can’t get a job nowhere else, and I know this for a fact.
Ya bunch of over judging jackasses. Ripping this woman for complaining. Sounding like a bunch of ex bank employees with the rod really up there. Bet you’re against health care for the sick too….worshiping money like a god, instead of the real one…and no compassion.
Get a life…and leave this blog to the folks who need it.
I may not be able to recover the loss of my vehicle as a result of cash points scam tactic by explaining the loan in a snake way, knowing the pay back (once you realize what they have done) is insane and pure unreasonable! it is no way you can recover your collateral with this business deal. But i am going to dayum sure report this issue to the better business bureau. I get loans from tym to tym from legit companies with no problem. 30% interest on collateral. this is the way cash point explains and answers your questions. ON the top of your paperwork is a payment plan which in specifically told to you is your payoff date! An $1800 loan which appears to be a payoff at $2378 (which is a high payoff but it was a need at the time). But the receipts reflect $15 on a $600 on time payment going towards the principle not the interest!! How can a business with a conscience actually be allowed to do this in our state?? I am going to report this but I assume since they are still in business that DE is allowing this. We have definitly been ripped off. So what you should have read a contract!! like i said they are talking and moving you along the app process explaining this is for this and that negating the truth. You trust they are guiding you right because you are already in a desparate situation to begin with to agree to pay 30-35% on a loan to begin with! This is why the auctions are filled an consumers vehicles are towed, because so many innocent people trust the loan company to begin with only to not be able to afford to recover their collateral. I mean you have to give up the collateral because you would end up paying over $5k on a loan deal LIKE WE ARE NOT GOING TO DO!! They got us and we cant afford to repay for the car we already owned! But not without putting this company on blast with the news journal and better business bureau. Even for record sake because this has to stop!!!!
YES..I would LOVE to see them on blast on the news or anywhere let everyone know what frauds they are they need to be reported I am having the same problem with them now! WHAT A SCAM I am trying to find a way to help get me out of this
I am yet another victim of these vampires who operate under cover of CashPoint Cash Point of Delaware. In truth, the day I went to get a loan from them I forgot to bring my reading glasses and I asked to be explained the payments. Danette simply pointed at the paper I was signing and sid the payments are right there in front of you. So I had no idea what the interest really was on that loan until it came time to make a payment. It never entered my mind that a ligitmate looking company like thiers were such criminals. I honestly did not look at the contract until three weeks later. When I saw the 360% I nearly fell out of my chair with a sick feeling to my stomach. $2,250.00 for a $700 loan. How are these people allowed to operate this loan sharking business? Evne though I made my first payment equal to the amount of the loan they continue to bill me the 360% in interest! I paid back the $700 right away yet months later the want $80 a month and continue to add charges which are now over $350. The more I pay the more I owe!! I have not missed any payments because I can’t afford to lose my vehicle but these VAMPIRES need to be stopped.
MikeA,
What do you mean you still owe them money? If you paid the $700 and the interest payment for that month (so $700 loan principal and the first interest payment owed) then you would be paid off.. Why/how do you still owe money?
You can’t complain that Cashpoint explains the terms in a ’snake like’ way when the very first page of your loan contract CLEARLY outlines the loan terms, RIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE FIRST PAGE. In black and white, it states that you will be paying 3x what you borrowed if you only pay the minimum payments. If you can get a loan elsewhere, then please, by all means feel free to do so.
And @Mike why would you go to apply for a loan, knowing you will have to read a contract before you do so, and ‘forget’ to bring your reading glasses? It’s always someone else’s fault, isn’t it.
@Alicia:
Why are you here defending them? Do you have a mortgage? Did you read ALL of the documents??? Did you read ALL of the documents at the closing table???….Hell no.
They are a ripoff, plain and simple….and Delaware allows it, plain and simple.
Their statements are ALWAYS late, and differ from when you call to inquire on what you owe that month….always!
If this was a credit card company…the darn FBI would be involved!
*you must be an employee…
*go bark at the mortgage company bank thieves….
…By the way, has ANYONE had problems getting their title back AFTER PAYING THEIR LOAN OFF???….or gimmicks like, your payoff amount had hidden charges, or higher when you got there to pay it off, couldn’t find your title, etc?
Any problems like that? Please let us know. This place comes off as the place to go, but once you get in bed with them….geez.
So at what point does personal responsibility come into play? Or are you not a believer of personal responsibility? As for my mortgage docs, you better believe I’d have a lawyer go over everything in the contract before signing anything. I’m not dumb enough to agree to loan terms if I’m not 100% sure I understand all it entails.
Do YOU have a Cashpoint loan, Rick? Or are you just going by what you heard from people who don’t pay their bills and then want to cry no fair?
THe ones who are defendinf Cash point are most likely the a**holes that work there that probably only make 7.50 and hour an thinks its funny to scam people in need..I got out a 1200 loan from themI have already paid back well over 1200 but yet last week when I called to make another payment they told me I still owe them $2200 which is absolutly impossible I dont even owe them half of that Im scared once I finish paying them off the “2200″ they wont give me back my title and make another BS excuse as to why I cant have it yet!!I would love to get an attorney to help with this but I feel like thats going to be even more money that I can not afford right now:(
Liza, I agree with u. Cash point is a scam. That why i took them to court and won. They charge 360% interest on a loan. PA law is 6%. They are not allow to charge that amount.
Pa law is 6%…guess it’s a good thing cashpoint does business in DELAWARE!
I have been considering using Cash Pointe, but I keep seeing negative reviews. I’ve never borrowed money before and I’m wondering how this whole interest thing with them works. Anyone care to give me a few examples?
If u take a loan out for 800, you will owe around 2400 0r more in a year
My car was lended to a friend who was supposed to be paying the title loan off when she asked if she could take one to help pay a bill. When the car stopped working, she stopped paying. They came and took the vehicle… No problem. Now they’re telling me they never took it and harassing me for the money. It was a worthless crappy vehicle, I have a car but now they want the crappy car they took and the money too…. Theives!!
I can’t help to respond to a comment. “The only people that comment are people that don’t pay your bills” well I paid my account in full 2 1/2 months later. Will I take out a loan will them again? NO! The rates are ridiculous. I was one day late and this cashpoint clerk called me. I told her I was paying the balance in full in two days. She started to threatened to reposess my car. These people are crazy. . Don’t ever borrow from them. Stop getting on people that fall in hard times. If everyone had money consistently, cashpoint would be bankrupted.
