Screwed up is the Justice System (Spanaway)
This is what really gets me. My house was robbed the day before my Fathers funeral, January 27, 2009. My co-worker Travis Simpson admitted to our co-workers how he did the robbery by giving my home key to his nephews Brett and Ty to break into my house and rob it. And he had been a roomate for 2 months.
However when he did not pay rent I told him he had two weeks to get out. Buisness is buisness and I did what I had to do. He left the weekend of the 24th and 25th. He told me he left the key in the garage. He lied. After I came home Tuesday night I discovered that my home was robbed. My co-worker Shane Taylor called me and said that Travis had robbed my home and was bragging about it.
The police came and I filed a report and they even took a report from shane but said that Travis admitting this was just hearsay, what kind of crap is that. I quit my job a few days later after 5 and a half yrs because I have morals and will not work with a thief and liar. Shane Taylor is my ex-employers nephew and Shane even told our bosses what Travis had done and I was amazed that my employers at the time [Matt and Dale Taylor], owners of Evergreen Concrete Cutting backed up Travis by telling the police that Travis had been at the shop all day and never left.
To my amazement numerous other employees told me that they had seen Travis fueling up the company dump truck at 0530 the morning of the theft at the Pacific Pride gas station on Valentine Ave in Pacific WA . I also learned that Travis worked in Gig Harbor that day. My neighbors heard the dump truck that morning but it was early and foggy so they didn’t see it. Why would my ex-employees lie to police? I saw Travis a few weeks later and asked where my stuff was, guess what I was charged with harrassment, How the hec is that justice! This cost me my home and everything I had in my life.
If a person were to go out and commit a serious crime like murder and brag abou it, the police would be all over it, I know this isn’t murder but it’s the same scenario. our justice system is Messed Up!
One of their golfing buddies [Jeff Bittner] even told me that he worked with Travis Simpson the day my home was robbed. The same day that the owners of Evergreen Concrete Cutting told police that Travis was at the shop and never went anywhere on that day. Jeff is a good guy and very honest but not the owners of Evergreen Concrete Cutting, they are liars and covered up for a guy that robbed my home.
