Illegal Repo American Honda Finance | Help
I have an 2003 Acura tl type s financed from American Honda Finance and was sent to collections/charge off for being 120 days behind for the numerous time has been before.This time car was supposed to be paid off real soon. I received a letter after online acct was frozen from non payment saying they wanted $5,804.62 in full no partial accepted. I borrowed this money and called to confirm payment methods etc on 9/17/09 and was told rpo would be put on hold till payment could go thru monday 9/21/09.
On mon 9/21 I made full payment and called to verify it was received- it was. Almost 2 weeks later my car was gone when I woke up with over 200 yards drag marks from tires and paint scrapede around corners of streets even.
I call 911 to be informed car was repoed and given contact info. Upon calling repo comp I was told it was accidentally repoed and they could return it or I could pick up over 45 min away. I chose to pick up since I saw street from repo already I could imagine my car! When I got there the owner stated one of his guys wouldnt of pulled it from behind or the distance and would need proof since his driver had 15yrs experience.
I pulled out camera showed him and he said he would rather pay out of pocket than on insurance since his deductible was 1000. He has never fixed anything and both companies blame each other. What laws can protect me and what can I do

A doctor in Dublin wanted to get off work and go fishing, so he approached his assistant
“Murphy, I am going fishing tomorrow and don’t want to close the clinic. I want you to take care of the clinic and take care of all me patients”.

“Sir, I was sitting here and suddenly the door flies open and a young gorgeous woman bursts in so she does. Like a bolt outta the blue, she tears off her clothes, taking off everyting including her bra and her panties and lies down on the table, spreading her legs and shouts: ‘HELP ME for the love of St Patrick! For five years I have not seen any man!’”
