Govt making us criminals of The Citizens of Oregon

I am 48 years old, born and raised in Salem. I have had a Driver’s license since I was 16 years old. I have lived at my current residence for over 3 years (my dog is licensed to it); I have been at my current job for 5 years. DMV sent me a renewal notice less than a month ago that my license is due to renew and I need to go in.I expected this because I have had the current one for 8 years. I went in to Dmv Saturday and could not renew because I had my original birth certificate and Not State issued one. I could get a temporary renewal while I get a copy of Birth Certificate or passport. What is that? They can issue a temp renewal, waste my time and theirs, and add more funds into the States pocket.

So I had to go home and go to passports, well they take at least 4 – 6 weeks minimum to get one and guess what you have to pay a fee and more to have it processed in that time. So then I go to vital records, of course I have to pay a fee for the cert, a fee to process it, a fee to mail it, a fee to have processed faster, a fee to have it shipped next day costing me a total of $52.50.

And then here is the kicker, after I paid for it online the final page instead of a receipt is a document you have to print, enlarge your ODL 2 times, lighten is twice take a photo copy and fax it to them before they can look at the order.
Now I don’t know if it will get here before Thursday, I am going to have take time off to get a temporary and then to get my actual license. And then, they give you a piece of paper until they mail your license to you which could take 2 to 4 weeks. So ….. your driving around without picture id. Isn’t that a law to have picture id? What if you go somewhere that requires picture id? YOU ARE MAKING OREGONIANS CRIMINALS. Just my normal $39 renewal fee is costing me about $200.
Please think twice about voting in that person that is a professional politician, like the saying goes…
It was so cold the politicians had their hands in their own pockets. It is suppose to be a cold winter.
