Stansberry Research’s ‘Retirement Millionaire’ Is this | Scam |
Oct 25th, 2010 by Frances in Service Ripoffs
I was ripped-off with the retirement millionaire scam, allowing you to know the secrets of those getting ready to retire. I have received a black-and-white newsletters, but nothing refering to those secrets. I feel this is a scam, and they did get my $49.99.
The legal recouse would like to sue for false advertisement.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Frances

You should have a look at http://www.greenlaserreviews.com — this site takes apart misleading and fraudulent promotions. Maybe the editor can help write a review for this you should ask!
Is there anyway can get my money back from this Retirement Millionaire Scam?
I signed up last night and never got any email confirmation.
How can I contact them for a refund?

You usually can ask for a refund, which companies of this holding company (Agora) usually give w/o problem.
Did they give you a login password to access their website? I am a subscriber to the Retirement Millionaire newsletter, and I can see all those special reports detailing the “secrets” viewable after logining into their website.
I am stopping all of the information from Retirement Millionaire, True Wealth, White Cap,Lifetime Income, Pennystock Expert,Penny Sleuth, Meta Stocks HTBPS, I am tired of receiving information on a stock that has already reached maximum returns. I also do not care what Bill Gates or Warren Buffet does nor Bill Clinton. I AM NOT IN THEIR CLASS. I feel that all of these letters are all from one company and want every nickel i own. Yes I feel ripped off.If you notice all of the letters, never mind the heading name, they are all working together. I will receive comments. dcram1940@gmail.com
hi. i am concerned if what that little video says is going to happen happens. but i dont feel like getting ripped off either. I feel like by your message here, you would have nothing to gain by lying to me. So i was wondering what all you know (and no, im not trying to get tips or anything to be a millionaire) i have never played the stock market and dont really plan on it, just wondering what your doing to prepare if you dont mind me asking… thanks for your time
Are you kidding? Please don’t be so gullible. This company peddles fear and then sells the people they scare a “way out.” This is 100% a scam. First, the world is not coming to an end, and if it were why would you care about money? Second, their investment advice is nothing revolutionary, and at best would be considered middle of the road or common sense. Basically, you don’t need a room full of fear mongers to tell you what you can find out on your own with a little research. Paying for their advice is the worst investment decision you could ever make.
Think about this. If they knew any secrets worth anything wouldn’t they all be filthy rich themselves? Wouldn’t they be employed by a major hedge fund with $100 million + salary? If they are such financial experts why wouldn’t they take their “secrets” to big investors that have the capital to ear real returns? They don’t do any of the above because they can’t. The only people that they can get to buy what they are selling are unsophisticated investors. (Unsophisticated in the sense that they don’t professionally study markets and investing.)
It makes me sick that these guys can just tell all the “chicken littles” that the sky is falling and they will turn off their brains and open their wallets. Just think about their proposition for a few minutes. Logically it doesn’t make sense. Investment firms are out to make the most money they can, PERIOD. That is how the market works. If they could make more money with their “secret” they would not be selling it. And because they sell it, you know that it’s present value is at least worth less than what they sell it for, or they would be selling it for more!
People who have an edge on the market do not sell their secrets, they exploit them and get rich doing it. They don’t sell them to casual investors after telling them that the world is collapsing and they their children are at risk.
These are heartless money grubbing fear mongers and nothing more. Don’t get duped.
Maybe… You can’t really argue that the country is headed for some kind of revolution. There is far too much non-sense. Everyone feels it and OIL prices are rising again.
If there is one truth in this VIDEO it is the store FOOD and water. look at JAPAN with the quake, it will be needed. And if you don’t then, you had it for an emergency. Ebay sells emergency food supplies that last 20 years. Take up camping ect incase you get stuck in a moment like on I should’nt be alive. The TV program.
It is time for a culture change, people are far less home with their families, a large percentage of the US is addicted to unhealthy sex in all forms. Most people consume more TV, Internet and other media per day than they have conversations or even thinking about their own spouse and family lives. We know more about what is going on in personal TV lives than what is going on in our possibly suicidal teens life.
I believe the VIDEO is partially right.. markets will fail again, and that all the countries are so intertwined that they will also experience some of the disaster and disbelief. With that said DON’T BUY HIS STUFF!
It won’t do anything for you! Unless you are planning on already moving out of the Country and knowing exactly what country is not going to fail.. China? China needs us.. We are the largest consumer, so i don’t know why China would wan’t us to crash. Think about it… If what happens is going to happen, then the USA will completely shut down. Not reopen like on 9-11. There won’t be anything open and you won’t see a penny.. EVERYTHING WILL HALT.
Stock markets will close, and if there is no longer a CURRENCY, then don’t worry about it. THE HEALING WILL FINALLY BEGIN! We all know it needs to happen. TV Will shut off, people won’t have the web to watch endless porn, and we will start to have open honest relationships again..
Will have Chickens, Rabits, Home brew Music and BBQ’s. Will actually watch our kids in stead of sticking then in another room to zombie out on some Cartoons..
Far better than worrying about making millions and watching the masses suffer while i’m on my own island with endless Youtube, porn, tv and women thinking I am so cool cause I have money.
No thanks, I’d rather be apart of the healing and the moment of helping others.
DON”T BUY
Wow this is one of the most uplifting thing I have read about this looming problem. Thanks I would like to get to know the man behind this i you don`t mind. If this does happen power in numbers
Mr Baker… You are Jesus. Society is so unrecognizable… From what it used to be… To what it has become… I am only 30 years old… And have seen the decay in values… And the general loss of stability. People feel… Without direction… Dont know… What to believe… And i fear that a Nationwide Cultural… Economic… Social and religious revolution is looming on the horizon… A zeitgeist reset of sorts… I believe America NEEDS this… the real question is… AT WHAT COST?? And WHEN…?
I can only say I’m glad theres another human on this planet who thinks those things. We ABSOLUTELY need a culture wake up call. Personally I believe that this cannot happen without introducing the gospel back into peoples lives and getting them to start living the way God wants them to, but I know not everyone will see it that way. The strongest swords are made in the hottest fires, and sometimes a wildfire is exactly what you need to make a forest stronger…
I am looking forward to the day when the planet does not operate on money. I want the people on the planet to operate on responsibility. You may not manufacture something new until you know how all the parts are going to be recycled at the end of its life. You may not birth babies into white trash ignorance. If you are stupid and irresponsible–no procreation.
of course these people are money grubbing as you say,,,, giving out information only someone willing to think would really understand,,unfortunatly,,not you,,,logically it does make sense ,,if you give people the truth and they have enough courage and strength to think for themselves they will do fine,,,due to this research my wife and i have bought 3 homes at auctions,,invested in gold when it was $700…what is it now Mr negative??? sorry you didn’t listen so now your still as broke as you were before???? Believe it or not some people believe being straight and helping others with with good advice will keep you subscribing for future buisness and keep them in business,,,by the way that’s how long term business succeeds,,,continuing business,,,or did you not know this simple fact,,,and let me add one thing,,,everyone pays for advice one way or another,,,that’s how you make a quicker beeline to the finish line,,,you can either choose to pay someone or take the long road,,,it is simple to understand what you did,,,
I subscribe to two of Stansberry’s letters. I can say with objectivity that “fear, fear, fear” is reading the material through a filter.
If he/she were actually reading the letters rather than inferring something that is not there it would help him/her immensely.
For instance, the whole “End of America” video done by S&A, as well as the following letters after it, clearly state that it is not a) the ‘end of the world’ as Fear misquoted. Rather, the standard of living and the value of our currency/dollar (and hence everything else the dollar purchases-homes, goods, services, etc)is what the video says will be ending as the dollar devalues.
Anyone reading simple headlines can know that in fact many of the G20 countries have been meeting and discussing the alternatives to the dollar, and USA was not invited to the pow wow.
b) ‘Fear’ also states that S&A’s analysts would work for a big firm if they were truly legit. Again, Fear has made a comment without one bit of research. A couple of the advisors worked for Goldman Sachs, CNBC’s The Street and international hedge funds.
I could go on but the point is Fear seems rather jaded without much actual research. I can honestly say that the information I have received has been timely and accurate. No advice letter gets it right 100% of the time but what I like about their approach is that they publish their ideas and then spend time inviting criticism from the opposite side of the coin.
I have especially been pleased with their contrarian suggestions which perfectly called the right time to short various indices as the market has been pulling back. In addition, they have made timely calls on when to buy energy and precious metals stocks for some excellent gains over the last few months. No complaints here…
Thanks Marcos,
I too have listened to the video’s and receive Porters free newsletter and see value in both – and am objective enough to see the value without fear.
This is a scam. Go check out these sites and you’ll know what’s going on!

I still can’t see where the scam is when USEC soared one month after the target date Porter quoted as the announcement did take place, with one month delay. Porter doesn’t own a crystal ball and anyone betting his rent money on insiders tips deserves to be sued for idiocy. What amuses me is that SEC targets Porter when an entire army of con-artists like Crammer lured unsuspected sheep inro Enron and Lehman
If you are interested in more information about the SEC lawsuit, please visit this website:

They are a rip off, they attempt to lure you into a phone call, insted of honoring thier customer service emails, I am sure a judge will honor your emails and punish the company for ingnoring your requests. Know the state the newsletter is written from and notify the stats attorney general.. SCAM all the way!!
Yes, there are growing numbers who have been “taken to the cleaners” by Stansberry Research’s ‘Retirement Millionaire’ and, one might add, by many other groups. Because our legal system is in such a shambles, the reactions by authorities is slow to (in some cases) non-existant.
What we need now is a good class-action law suit, and a really serious criminal investigation. And if we really do want this sort of thing, we will also need a return of law and order in America — not the hit-and-miss process we have stumbling along at this time.
But don’t hold your breath while you wait. Action takes serious interaction from folks like you and me. And, do you really think that’s really going to happen?
Well, maybe it will. We’ll see.

I have subscribed to several of the Stanberry & Co letters for several years and am quite happy with the information provided. I’m a fairly knowledgeable retired investor managing my own self-directed IRAs and find many of the suggestions useful and have acted on many of them. Over several years I’ve found their information has a high batting average. I’m no fan of the advertising videos so I just delete them. The newsletters, though, are very helpful to my retirement income.
i find the coments very inlighting and very helpful thanks.
Temporary User Name and Password do not work! When do I receive my permanent ones. Also I have not received any of the free reports promised. Gordon Maddox

Today I received an E-mail with a ‘click’ address to the Retirement Millioaire presentation. It was well presented, as few are – It sounded interesting and the price is down to $39.00 (?) As I usually do, I looked at the end of the message AND at the message properties to see from whom this came.
It was in a message from Jason Fielder (Austin, Texas) who promotes FOREX trading schemes (scams). Jason Fielder stole over $1,000 from me and made NOT ONE effort to refund my money. By ’stole’ I mean that he sent me a defective product and went through all sorts of gyrations to weasel out of the refund, including lies and all kinds of slick gyrations by the Support Group that handles his various holdings. He has a slick setup and deals with several FOREX schemes. I am presently preparing a report to the Texas Attorney General, The Austin, Texas BBB (who rates him as ‘B’ business), and a Federal agency who shows interest in these types of things. The good doctor who heads up Retirement Millioaire is associated with Stansbury and Associates and if he is in cahoots with Jason Fielder AND Stansbury and Asssociates, I would be VERY WARY of dealing with any of them.
I also sent $39.00 to Retirement Millionaire and then got your
e-mail.Where do I go from here? Ed
I am amazed at the comments, especially the ones that screams the loudest that it is a scam.
During the 30 day trial period if you do not like what you see just call them up for a refund with no further question asked.
There never was a problem to get my credit card reimbursed.
If you don’t like the publications that is a different story but to shoot from the hip and call them a fraud is criminal.
Many things can be classified a scam, legitimate business can be called scams like lawyers advertising on TV to invite you to call if you are in a accident to get money from them so they can sue the other party that is a SCAM and criminal. These people can pollute the country while cigarette company’s cannot advertise on TV.
Get your facts straight please.
Most so called retirement “experts” say you need to figure out how much money you’ll need, before you can retire.
But a Maryland medical doctor has a totally different approach. In fact, he’s come up with a unique plan that could enable you to retire rich, with basically zero savings in the bank.
I suggest you check out Stansberry Research’s ‘Retirement Millionaire’ interesting take on the subject
