Review of Rule Breakers’ “3 Kings of Cloud Computing”

I was subscriber to the Motley Fool Rule Breakers just because it was run by David Gardner who is a much better stock picker than most of the other Fools including, his brother Tom. I was fortunate enough to have had some of his excellent picks in, CTRP, EDU GOOG, AKAM but I was fortunate enough to have sold them just in time.
For around $ 299/a year, this Subscription of Motley Fool Rule Breakers newsletter does not manage your stocks for you, well or in a judicious approach, you can easily lose all your investment you will need to have something more than the advice of these news letter hawkers, you could quite possibly lose everything very quickly you have to have some good TA to balance these picks but it’s not easy because you have to really know the company well.
For a quick assessment, of their original “3 Kings of Cloud Computing” from the Rule Breakers team pitch where,
1. Google (GOOG),
2. Akamai (AKAM) and
3. VMWare (VMW),
By all means these are still being teased by the Fools— while Akamai is the company that makes the internet fly and VMWare is the other one with the stronghold on a niche market that’s absolutely vital to the future of Cloud Computing.
The business scenario for these companies has not changed much in the two+ years since they have been touting with aggressive ad campaigns.
Google’s stock is a bit more stable than the other two, the prices of all three have moved in tandem with each other through the market crash and recovery as well.
Google and VMWare do stand at levels similarly to where they were in August of 2008 when their ads had started making rounds, though Akamai has done significantly better.
