Dominican Hospital lies about complaints.
by xxxxxxxx in Personal Ripoffs, Service Ripoffs
Complaints filed against Dr. SPELLMAN, JOHN RIDER, LINDA LANTRY and BECKY SHOEMAKER are still in progress. The boards investigating the crimes are keeping in touch and as I receive updates I will pass them along. The book is coming along as well. It is a daunting task with all the different answers I received during the depositions of these criminals.
I am receiving a lot of help because of the brain injury I incurred from the unauthorized injection of John Rider during the MRI test Linda Lantry was performing without supervision of a trained and qualified physician present. Dr. Spellman claimed he was supervising technicians. He was in another building, another address and another business and Dominican lied again stating he was supervising. The photo shows my arm after the illegal injection.
The manufacturer warns of tissue damage if incorrectly injected. Technician Rider knew he was breaking the law and was trying to inject me before being caught. He did not use care injecting me with the unauthorized contrast injection.
More evidence being mailed Monday.

I now know why it’s called Shady Oaks (Hampton)

I now know why it’s called Shady Oaks (Hampton)
I mowed, cleaned trash, trimmed sidewalks, bagged some of the grass, washed part of a trailer, planted grass, and used my own mower and weedeater, gas, oil, etc. I have done this for 2.5 years now. Well, according to the new resident manager, I was almost guaranteed the job of lawn matainence.
I offered to do the above described tasks twice a week for 50 dollars a week. The park consists of 27 trailers on 3 acres. I was turned down. Because I was extremely frustrated and dissapointed about the situation, I mentioned to the owner how much money he has stolen from my fiancee, and he hung up on me. Because of previous resident managers’ wrong doing, my fiancee was required to pay the $500 security deposit twice and rent money that had already been paid.
This was a total of something like over 1200 dollars. The former resident managers were pocketing the money, and instead of the owner pressing charges against these people, my fiancee was required to pay the money again or face eviction. I just thought that someone would like to hear this. I am not going to give any names or locations, but if you are looking for a place to live, don’t look in shady places.
If you need a mess cleaned up in your yard, I offer you the duity of cleaning your mess, no matter of how big, (be reasonable) for the price of 25 dollars. I am good at what I do, and I love to do it. I have the next 3 mondays available.

J & J towing is an irreputable business (814 Linger Lane)
by xxxxxxxx in Service Ripoffs
On June 10th 2010, J & J towing illegally towed my car from my residence. Upon getting my car back, i noticed some damage to the bumper that had not been there before. I contacted J & J towing to get their insurance information.
The girl that answered the phone informed me that she would not give me the information. I’m pretty sure that was illegal also. I have done some research and found that J & J towing regularly conduct themselves this way. I am currently looking for any one else that has had problems with J & J towing. If anybody out there has had these problems, please reply.
Also please inform the austin police department, the better business bureau, and 7 on your side, as i have contacted all of these organizations as well. If we all work together, maybe J & J towing will get what’s coming to them.

Reverse Rate Evasion is a form of Insurance Fraud
by RipHelp in Service Ripoffs
Georgia is taking aim at residents who fraudulently register their vehicles or obtain auto insurance in other counties then those where the vehicle is primarily driven and parked..
The Assembly recently passed a measure that makes so-called reverse rate evasion a form of insurance fraud.
Under the practice, vehicle owners register and insure their vehicles in a county outside the Metro Atlanta area to get cheaper premiums, avoid emissions and higher taxes , even though the Fulton, Dekalb ,Cobb Area is where the insured vehicle is mostly kept and driven.
This results in the loss of state revenues and causes higher premiums for those who properly register their vehicles.
If the bill becomes law, it would make reverse rate evasion a fourth-degree crime, which means violators can be jailed for up to 18 months. Specific fines would be determined by a judge under the state’s Insurance Fraud Prevention Act, according to the text of the bill.

Taxmasters of Houston is a Big Scam
by XXXXXX in Service Ripoffs
To whom it concern,
Unfortunately I signed up with Taxmasters prematurely on dec.9,2009, after receiving notice from the IRS that they were giving my sold business in 2006 an complete audit. Taxmasters informed me that they wanted me to sign a contract, after giving me all these fantastic promises to save me tons of money, as I had seen in their ads on tv. Their salesman mark brisebois, told me all would be taken care of with $6400 so I set up a 5 payment deal using my discover-card.
During the next 2 months they captured $2950 from my acc’t leaving $2400 balance, but then I was told they would not work on my account until all monies were paid. I began reading rip off reports and a class-action suit at that time regarding several disgruntled customers and ex employees who also had more disclosures on the internet.
I am sure you are aware of these patrick cox led scoundrels, and have probably received a few complaints already. Taxmasters of Houston seem to be the lowest of the low, and I am caught up in the middle. My IRS audit is completed and my cpa is attempting to mitigate, and I have until july 21 to respond. He has power of att’y, something taxmasters did not receive for one reason or another.
Taxmasters of Houston phone number is 1-800-682-3679. Fax – 713-463-2945, but it is impossible t0 have any one above salespeople to answer. The last people I was dealing with was pam edmonds ext#6060, or danielle sims ext#5020.
My phone ..
I can give you much more info upon contact. Thank you
Sincerly, steve

Ripoff Martial Arts Contracts
by HateCheeters in Service Ripoffs
I originally signed a 6 mo contract for my child to learn martial arts.
When the 6 mo was up I re upped for another 6 mo. When the last 6 mo was over my child did not want to continue with the classes. When I talked to the billing office because I was still getting charged for a monthly fee even though my child stopped going. I was informed that I had signed my child up 3 yrs of lessons for $3,800!
When I renewd the contract the instructor explained what I was getting and to signed and date the bottom of the contract. Since classes were starting he told me he would finsh the paper work and mail me my copy of the contract.
Needless to say, when I recieved the contract in the mail I didn’t read it. The instructor and I verbally went over the terms and the program has a good rep so I foolishly assumed that something like this would not happen.
When I called the owner of the school he said the only way to break the contract was if we were moving far from the school or my child became physically diabled. So now I pay $148/mo for classes my child doesn’t take anymore and I have at least 1 1/2 yrs to keep paying. I’ve tried everything possible.
Is there someone else who has had the same experience and had a sucessful outcome?

SRE-CheapTrips Inc is a Scam
by themacway in Service Ripoffs
On Aug. 14, 2009, my husband (foolishly) accepted a deal from Cheaptrips, offered over the phone. The “membership” fee of $108.95 was taken from our Visa account on that day.
The SRE-CheapTrips Inc offer included the promise of an immediate refund, if dissatisfied, upon return of the materials. The materials were received. On 9/24/09, we called and were directed how to return the packet of materials, again with the promise that the refund would be ours.
In Dec. and again in Jan. we contacted the company via their web site and requested the refund. Their response was “You should recieve (sic) your refund on your next billing statement.” Given plenty of time, I began to call them (first on 2/2/10). Since then, I have phoned them no less than 19 times. Early on, I was told it “should be in my account on Fri.” or “would be returned in 7 to 14 days” and “would tell the supervisor to expedite the refund” and “it would be resubmitted to refund manager” and “the ref!und manager would call” and “it has been handed in for investigation”.
In April, the replies began to take on new excuses: “the refund manager was unavailable. Call back later.” “The refund manager was out of the office.” Even when I made an “appointment” for a time to call said “refund manager”, he would not take the call but would “call back”; I would be told to call at another given appointment time; or be told “he’s not in yet.” or once, was told that “he’s doing interviews and can’t be interrupted.” Finally on June 9, 2010, I got through to Chris, the refund manager.
After explaining my request for a refund, he seemed to run out of excuses and finally told me that unless my husband called (the one who had actually made the deal), he would deal with us no further. My husband has called 4 or 5, and has been given the same run around as I was.
We now know we’re dealing with a dishonorable outfit that is SRE-CheapTrips Inc , but aren’t ready to give up the fight! Thanks for whatever you can do! We would like our refund!! Their letterhead gives them the title of:
Scam is SRE-CheapTrips Inc. P.O. box 2036, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Customer service number 1-877-354-9440 or 1-800-211-5119. Member: Gary Clark with ID number 2014567

I don’t recommend Michael Mazaheri Eye Center.
by ellaastrid40 in Service Ripoffs
I had Lasik surgery at Dr. Michael Mazaheri. The doctor was talking to his assistants the whole time like I wasn’t even there, and made me feel like he wasn’t even paying attention to me. My results were not very good initially and after a month it all went bad. Mister Michael Mazaheri would not see me again until I pushed the issue then he didn’t listen and barely checked my eyes, post surgery they treat you awful.
I feel like they took my money and ran. Now it’s almost been a year and my eyesight is worse than it started. I can’t see at night. When I went to see another eye doctor, he was shocked at the scarring on my eyes and said it was the worst she’s seen. I don’t recommend Michael Mazaheri Eye Center.

Yes Dr. David Kleiman is a liar
by johnfranlkin in Service Ripoffs
I went to David Kleiman after hearing advertising that was completely false. The advertising said a price that was at least half of what they wanted from me after going there for an exam. There is nothing special about the lasik I need and they are complete liars, yes Dr. David Kleiman is a liar.
You can see through the whole process what they are up to and at the end they tell me the procedure is going to cost almost 5000 dollars after advertising less than half of that. David Kleiman is not a good doctor I hope other people will know what to do when they hear of him.
