On Aug. 14, 2009, my husband (foolishly) accepted a deal from Cheaptrips, offered over the phone. The “membership” fee of $108.95 was taken from our Visa account on that day.

The  SRE-CheapTrips Inc offer included the promise of an immediate refund, if dissatisfied, upon return of the materials.  The materials were received.  On 9/24/09, we called and were directed how to return the packet of materials, again with the promise that the refund would be ours.

In Dec. and again in Jan. we contacted the company via their web site and requested the refund.  Their response was “You should recieve (sic) your refund on your next billing statement.”  Given plenty of time, I began to call them (first on 2/2/10).  Since then, I have phoned them no less than 19 times.  Early on, I was told it “should be in my account on Fri.”  or “would be returned in 7 to 14 days” and “would tell the supervisor to expedite the refund” and “it would be resubmitted to refund manager” and “the ref!und manager would call”  and “it has been handed in for investigation”.

In April, the replies began to take on new excuses: “the refund manager was unavailable.  Call back later.”  “The refund manager was out of the office.”  Even when I made an “appointment” for a time to call said “refund manager”, he would not take the call but would “call back”; I would be told to call at another given appointment time; or be told “he’s not in yet.” or once, was told that “he’s doing interviews and can’t be interrupted.”  Finally on June 9, 2010, I got through to Chris, the refund manager.

After explaining my request for a refund, he seemed to run out of excuses and finally told me that unless my husband called (the one who had actually made the deal), he would deal with us no further.  My husband has called 4 or 5, and has been given the same run around as I was.
We now know we’re dealing with a dishonorable outfit that is SRE-CheapTrips Inc , but aren’t ready to give up the fight! Thanks for whatever you can do!  We would like our refund!! Their letterhead gives them the title of:

I have a big time issue with NetSmartz.net. This is the worst company I have ever worked with. Net Smartz is condescending, disrespectful, and they do not know how to do SEO work! simply as that. They make you promises and talk the big talk but, do not follow through and NOT ONE PROMISE is kept.

Unfortunately you’ve already lost thousands of dollars by then, trusting all the hog wash and excuses. We have lost money with NetSmartz, and NO, they don’t have a money back guarantee.

I am a Doctor and someone wrote some false comments on me on DoctorScorecard.com  When I called Earl Thurston the owner to get things straight he said I had to pay him $2000 to have the comments removed.

I said I would not pay a dime in extortion money and I told him that what he was doing is a crime. Looks like he is still out to try and intimidate me from telling the straight story. He has posted personal information about me and my wife online in the hope that I won’t continue to tell the world that he is an extortionist.

He even published a rip-off report about me for no other reason than to retailiate and harrass me for telling the truth about his scam. He publishes false nonesense and threats and intimidation on his website to try to keep people like me from exposing his crimes.

It won’t work, and I look forward to watching and commenting freely as this racket implodes.

Medical Papers filled out by my doctors’ insisting I needed to have a 2nd bedroom for a live in care giver approved by the state and for the purpose of necessary medical equipment; down sizing my voucher payment to a one bedroom size increasing my payment portion to reflect the difference; falsifying my income received to double the amount I receive from Social Security and insisting I pay their portion of 3 times my 30% income, and not issuing me a new voucher when I refused to pay the increase and attempted to move into a smaller more affordable 1 bedroom unit.

I am now living in my car (until placed in the hospital thru the emergency room for life threatening medical complications from Lymphoma, Type Two Adult onset Diabetes and Depression). Kathleen Riese

Every month I get an email (via my church) from Barbara Clark asking for money for rent, light bills, etc.
The story is a little different each time.

I suspect that she has a large mailing list of churches and agencies and instead of working simply sends out
these emails each month.

Do others get them? Does anyone know if she has a legitimate need? Or just a scammer?

The time she came to pick up a check it was in a high priced SUV.

Michael Palazzo did not keep his word once again, and I’m finished playing. I worked for him from September 2, 2009 until October 2. He hired me as his personal “virtual” executive assistant. I worked from my home, with the exception of two face-to-face meetings (one in his home, one at a public location). Michael agreed to pay $20/hour, closing out weekly on Friday’s. He actually owes me $325, but I did not charge him for the two meetings or several phone calls. The invoice he received from me was for $225.

Michael Palazzo has my name and personal information on his websites and “office” voicemail. He has now exploited yet another single mother, preying on the vulnerable, gaining infinite pleasure from his scams.
His immoral behaviors toward me included lying, verbal sexual harassment, and swindling my time and money to the detriment of my family.
