I originally signed a 6 mo contract for my child to learn martial arts.

When the 6 mo was up I re upped for another 6 mo. When the last 6 mo was over my child did not want to continue with the classes. When I talked to the billing office because I was still getting charged for a monthly fee even though my child stopped going. I was informed that I had signed my child up 3 yrs of lessons for $3,800!

When I renewd the contract the instructor explained what I was getting and to signed and date the bottom of the contract. Since classes were starting he told me he would finsh the paper work and mail me my copy of the contract.

Needless to say, when I recieved the contract in the mail I didn’t read it. The instructor and I verbally went over the terms and the program has a good rep so I foolishly assumed that something like this would not happen.

When I called the owner of the school he said the only way to break the contract was if we were moving far from the school or my child became physically diabled. So now I pay $148/mo for classes my child doesn’t take anymore and I have at least 1 1/2 yrs to keep paying. I’ve tried everything possible.

Is there someone else who has had the same experience and had a sucessful outcome?

I have asked them for my money back for the work they did not even attempt to perform. I can’t compete with their lawyers or there stable of employees whose job it is to go out onto the Internet all day and post “independent” and “candid” remarks .So, I won’t even try to compete with that.

PositiveSearchResults.com sent me an email telling me that I had a Ripoff Report which I did. They said they could remove it from the front pages of google (which they did not) for this I paid them $3500 dollars. They said they had a Guarantee. They did not honor it.

Ripoff story: I ordered a trial of Dazzle White and have been charged for another companys Support@worldclubfitness.com We’ve canceled our credit card but now would like to retrieve charges made that we did not agree to.

When we contacted our credit card they said they’ve been dealing with these Scams from these companys for over two yesars. How do I get reimbursed for these fraudulent charges?

I recently had lasik at Dr. Harvey Carter and my eyes feel like they have been burnt, as if I have been staring at a bright welding rod all day. I have pain when I sleep as well but it’s the worst when I am trying to read or working on the computer. Eyes don’t seem to want to work together.

I’m worried that I will have these problems for the rest of my life, I now have problems walking down a hall with blurry vision, I did not have this before even without glasses. These things can go bad, done through private clinics that only have “making money in mind” and not always in the patients best interest.

Harvey Carter Eye Center that did my eyes did not bother to tell me ahead of time that my large pupil size was a serious threat to my night vision. I feel like such an idiot for putting my trust in people that were not qualified enough to deserve it. Qualifications that I feel were lacking were both technical and honesty. The bottom line for Harvey Carter is the dollar.

I have had my Juniper Credit Card Interest rate raised from 8.99% to 30.24% because of one late payment for which they charged me $39.00.  I am insensed.  I had never been late before.

What’s GOING ON?

Ripoff story: I brought my Daughters car to these scammers and I was told the price to fix my fender would be a couple hundred dollars. I asked them also to fix the windshield, a wheel Bering and paint the entire car and clear coat it. They quoted me a price of 1800 dollars. After they  told me the car was ready.

I clearly saw that they did not paint the car. They only buffed some scratches out and it was not clear coated nor was the wheel bearing fixed. These guys are complete scammers and scumbags.

They then had the nerve to ask for $3000 to release the car. I had no choice but to pay this because they had the car and the police would do nothing.
Stay away from these guys. They will just rip you off.

My uninsured spouse was recently treated at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
We have strong reason to believe that SCVMC charges an entirely different rate to uninsured patients than it does to insured patients.
I would like to compare itemized statements of charges between my spouse’s treatment and your insured treatment.
