The 12% Letter’s ‘Wal-tirement’ just another hype from Dan Ferris

by xxxxxxxx in Service Ripoffs

‘Wal-tirement’ a new teaser making the rounds through the mailboxes of millions these days emerges from none other than Stansberry Research’s The 12% Letter, ‘Wal-tirement’ is nothing more than a term coined by the editors of The 12% Letter Dan Ferris.
Satirical though these are the same people proclaiming long term growth of Wal-mart, Microsoft (MSFT), and their own stock ideas while at the same time predict ‘End of America’

Yet another tease for DRIP investing — Dividend Reinvestment Plans (DRIPs), predictably ‘Old Wine in a New Bottle’ a long long time after their very popular 801 K plans  tease, where a company sells stock to directly to investors,  and allow you to reinvest your dividends into new stock directly as well.

Goldline International Inc. is a Ripoff | SCAM |

by Jerome Droney in Product Ripoffs, Service Ripoffs

Goldline International Inc www.Goldline.Com
1601 Clover Field blvd
100 South Tower
Santa Monica,California90404

On march 23, 2010 I purchased 20 gold lira, 42 units, for $15,390.28 from Goldline International Inc
Last week (I’m a retired senior citizen) I returned the Gold to Goldline International Inc for liquidation. At the time I purchased Gold was selling for about $1,100 per ounce.Today’s market Gold was selling for $1,824.00 per ounce. They paid me $14,859. They charged $150 for processing and $15.00 for A wire transfer.

Even though gold from my time of purchase has increased in value by $700 per ounce, I wind
Up with less than I purchased it for. I feel that I was Ripped off for at least $500 and more re:increased price
Of gold. Be careful in doing business with Goldline International Inc  people.
I wound up with $491 less than my original investment. This is a buy low and sell high operation. I lost
Approximately $500 when the gold market is going Sky high. A few days ago Marco singer said the would
Cash me in for $3.75 per coin. This would be break even.
Now I’m almost $500 short

Ship Wrecked in Port of San Diego | “HELP” (San Diego)

by thaddeus zebrowski in Personal Ripoffs

On Tuesday 11/03/09 around 3PM I bought a 32’ boat on Shelter Island at the City Marina for San Diego from Bob and LaRainne. Purpose of the boat was to create activities for the cub and boy scouts of San Diego by way of a non-profit association. I took Bob with our “Bill of Sale” to the office in charge of renting boat slips and showed Emily, the manager, the change of ownership. Read the rest of this entry »

Santa Clara County Housing Authority is Rip-off

by Hopefully safe in Service Ripoffs

Voucher # V76791-01 – HUD Section 8 Recipient Kathleen Riese; Cell: 408-903-6163 E-mail: Catalexis.Jazz@gmail.com or CatalexisJazz@aol.com . Placed into a homeless status in December 2nd, 2008 and again September 22, 2009 by the Santa Clara Housing Authority who began a brow beating under handed termination attempt process – by denying me my 2 bedroom medical reasonable accommodation.

Medical Papers filled out by my doctors’ insisting I needed to have a 2nd bedroom for a live in care giver approved by the state and for the purpose of necessary medical equipment; down sizing my voucher payment to a one bedroom size increasing my payment portion to reflect the difference; falsifying my income received to double the amount I receive from Social Security and insisting I pay their portion of 3 times my 30% income, and not issuing me a new voucher when I refused to pay the increase and attempted to move into a smaller more affordable 1 bedroom unit.

I am now living in my car (until placed in the hospital thru the emergency room for life threatening medical complications from Lymphoma, Type Two Adult onset Diabetes and Depression). Kathleen Riese

Complaints Car from Murray Motors is a total lemon (Denver)

by PO in Product Ripoffs

Complaints#

I am very saddened that I bought a lemon at Murray Motors.
I thought reputation preceded quality and trust, I was mistaken. I bought a Land Rover with 2 dangerous defect issues from Murray Motors and I am stuck with $21,000 spent – only to learn that my car additionally needs a new engine on top of the lost $8,000 in repairs.

Complaints#

It needed the new engine on the day I bought the car at their dealership. The engine problem has been a known & documented defect since 3-14-1003. They are a dealership full of pride….. but I have not seen any satisfactory follow through and I am a deeply disappointed customer. I am still waiting for some proof of their integrity.
